This creates a 'ph balanced water' that is perfect for healthy drinking. That is until we humans mess things up.

through the industrialization of the world and our efforts to continually make a better living for ourselves we now cannot find anywhere truly untouched and pure alkaline ionized water.

Because the earth has such a fantastic delivery system of it's naturally occurring alkaline minerals to all points of the planets waters, it also delivers all of our man-made chemicals to all points in the same manner. Today these harmful and deadly chemicals have been found even in the extremely remote and supposedly 'untouched' areas as the deepest jungles of the Amazon to the underground waters of the Sahara desert and even locked into the upper layers of the Antarctic and Arctic poles.

what poor countries with inadequate or nonexistent purification systems have in their water. Aren't you glad that we here in developed countries have municipal water filtration systems that keep 'our' water clean? Think again!

Many studies have shown that right at our taps in our kitchens and bathrooms are many man-made chemicals that have a very acidifying effect on us. Some from the very municipal systems put in place to keep our drinking and bathing water 'clean'. They are put in the system out of necessity to keep the water from becoming disease born as it travels through the piping system to our homes and finally out our taps.

However, ideally we don't want to end up drinking these 'helpful' chemicals and so we place filters at our taps and under our counters to try once again to have clean, 'pure' water.

Ultimately though, there are literally hundreds of chemicals that make their way into our drinking and bathing water at some point and there does not exist any man-made filtration system or method that will completely rid us of 'all' chemicals in our water. We simply do the best we can with what means we have.

This sites main theme and purpose throughout is to address 'one' aspect of our health using alkaline ionized water and related subjects. That is the 'alkalizing' of our water to help offset the many acidifying effects around us in our daily lives.

Getting back to the way nature intended, we find pure life giving water was actually made up of many trace amounts of healthful alkaline minerals. Minerals that our bodies need. And these minerals, when working with earths natural magnetic fields, had a natural ionizing effect on the water that made it just slightly alkaline in nature. That is, slightly above ph neutral which on the ph scale is 7. This was natures way of giving us alkaline ionized water. Perfectly ph balanced water.

A personal point.
I am by no means a doctor or any other such title. I am simply an individual that has had many health problems in the past and has only recently discovered the idea of alkaline ionized water as a possible health benefit. It made immediate sense to me since years ago I actually witnessed with my own eyes my own live blood molecules on a computer screen dancing around and bumping off of each other. I was fascinated by what I saw. I was also alarmed as the physician showing me pointed out that my blood was very acidic as apposed to a healthy slightly alkaline level.

The doctor pointed out how ideally my blood molecules should 'all' be separated and bouncing off each other with ease. Mine were mostly 'chained'. Stuck together like the links on a chain, having a tough time moving around.

To add to the mix I saw what looked like crystals with points and sharp edges and was told that these are the result of years of high acidic levels in my blood. My bodies effort to 'coat' or 'cover over' the harmful acidic contents to protect my cells from damage. I also saw what looked like some strange under sea star fish type creature with five or six long tentacles moving about as well. I was told this was a type of parasite quite common in people with highly acidic blood.

Parasites and many diseases 'thrive' in an acidic environment. They cannot survive in an alkaline environment, or at least don't like it. That is why nature has given us naturally occurring alkaline ionized water that is slightly alkaline rather than acidic.

Today
we do our bodies no favors with the processed foods we eat, the chemically enriched water and soft drinks that we drink, and the polluted air we breathe each day. Nearly every person in the western society and many in other cultures today will have highly acidic blood by the time they are an adult. Blood that allows all kinds of nasties to 'thrive' and grow as we go about our busy lives totally unaware of what's happening in our bodies over the years.

And we wonder why so many people today succumb to diseases like cancer and such. Cancer is one of those 'nasties' that does not like an alkaline environment.

So the bottom line of this whole site therefore is going to be information on alkaline ionized water based on the premise that this type of water can play a significant role in our health efforts.

There are of course many other ways to a healthful life and to 'alkalize' our bodies including eating right, breathing right, balanced exercise and even the power of positive thinking. Some of these I will touch on but this site is going to mainly concentrate on water; Alkaline Ionized Water.

I will try to lay it out in a logical order based on what I have personally learned and also researched. I find it a personally exciting subject in this day and age of so much pollution, but I've never actually 'built' a website before so keep in mind that it is the 'information' that I'm trying to get out and not a flashy 'cool' website here.

It will be a simple layout to start. Click buttons on the left side linking to major topics and then mixed within the content of those pages will be other text links to related subjects under that topic. Pretty simple. Just the way I like it and I hope you will too.

One last point while reading Alkaline Ionized Water.
There are some subjects that I could get very technical and use all kinds of scientific jargon, but not being a scientist or chemist I try to take all that jargon in my research and simplify it...dumb it down...for my sake as well as anyone reading this. So if you're the scientific type I hope you can forgive me for sometimes over simplifying things.
